All of the settings for page-level formatting of a document or section (except columns) are found in Word’s Page Setup dialog. In Word 2010, you can open this dialog by clicking the dialog launcher (small arrow) in the bottom right corner of the Page Setup group on the Page Layout tab. An easier way to access the dialog, if you have the horizontal ruler displayed, is to double-click at the top of the ruler. Word for Mac 15.26 and higher shows this behaviour. Version 15.11 and below does not. It seems that if you have approximately 20 sections or more in a document and you try to change the paper size in Page Setup (from File menu) with all pages selected, the returned paper size is 0 x 0. If you do choose a specific paper size and press OK to accept, the behaviour is not the paper size you want (if you choose the Page Setup dialogue again, with every page selected, it still returns an odd size). If you have less than approx. 20 sections you get the normal behaviour, when doing the above. I have tested on a couple of different installations with the same result. Putty for mac el capitan. Since this is my first post I'm not sure if you can attach a document, but I have tried for your testing: Link to doc: 1. Open the attached linked document 'Test Sections' 2. ![]() ![]() Select all (CMD-A) 3. Open menu File->Page Setup 4. The paper size is 0 x 0 5. Delete a couple of the sections in the document and repeat step 1 to 3, and the paper size will be the international paper A4. Can someone help me get rid of this problem? Or even better explain why it happens? Best Greiffenberg EDIT: Link instead of document attached. It appears Virfranz has disappeared! There are at least 3 different 'latest versions' of Office 2016. There is general release, insider slow, and insider fast. If you can state which actual version number you have, it would be helpful. To find this information, go to the Word menu and choose About Word. If you are using Insider Slow or Insider Fast, then I can move your question to the special Insider forum where Microsoft's actual developers hang out.
